Thank you for your interest in applying to Georgetown University as a transfer student. Transfer students serve as a vital part of our University community and excel in each of the University’s four undergraduate schools. The University, through its Committee on Admissions, selects those transfer students most likely to profit from the educational offerings of Georgetown. Each year, the admissions committee evaluates approximately 7,555 applications for transfer. Applicants for transfer admission are measured on two scales: academic and personal.

Transfer applicants are strongly encouraged to apply online. While PDF copies of the Georgetown Transfer Application and Georgetown Transfer Application Supplement are available, submission of an online application greatly facilitates file completion and timely review.
